The fellowship is a transformative 18-month program (June 2025 – Nov 2026) supporting leaders of socially engaged arts organisations in Europe. It provides funding, mentoring, peer learning, and advocacy tools to strengthen organisations that use the arts for community engagement and social change.
Immersive Residentials
Oct 2025 (Turin, Italy): Deep dive into socially engaged arts, advocacy, and impact.
June 2026: Reflection & co-creation with peers.
12 Online Workshops – interactive skill-building & peer learning.
Action Learning Sets – bi-monthly peer support groups.
Mentoring & Support – one-to-one and external mentoring.
Study Visits & Exchanges – up to €5,000 travel grants to learn from peers.
Fellowship Grants – €60,000 per organisation for participation, development, and pilot actions.
Learning by Doing – develop real-world advocacy work and organisational strategies.
Online Community – digital platform for collaboration and resources.
The Seed of Change – Personal + organisational growth to tackle challenges.
Extending the Reach – Translate growth into stronger advocacy capacity.
A Movement for Advocacy – Shape systemic change for socially engaged arts across Europe.
Applicants must be:
Leaders of non-profit arts organisations in the Council of Europe states or Kosovo.
Organisation must be:
Established ≥5 years (including informal period before legal registration).
Based and operating in Europe.
Focused primarily on socially engaged arts.
The Fellow must have:
≥3 years senior leadership experience in socially engaged arts.
≥1 year in current leadership role.
Proficiency in English.
