Matrix Energy Limited, through the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation (AAF), in partnership with the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, invites applications from outstanding and motivated candidates for its fully funded postgraduate scholarship programs in Materials Engineering.

Available Programs

Master’s Degree in Materials Engineering (2 years)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Must have graduated with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2:1).

Doctoral (PhD) Degree in Materials Engineering (3 years)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, or a closely related field.

• The Master’s program must be research-based, with a minimum of 60% weighted average in coursework.

Selection Process

Applications will undergo rigorous review by a joint panel from AAF and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, OAU. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further screening.
