Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) Program – 2025

Application Deadline:

• December 19, 2024, 11:59 PM (PST)

Program Overview:

• Government initiative providing 70,000 quality summer job opportunities for youth aged 15–30 years.

• Offers wage subsidies to eligible employers to create summer employment.

• Jobs can occur between April 21, 2025, and August 30, 2025.

• Goal: Help youth gain work experience, develop skills, and connect with the labor market.

How to Apply

1. Prepare Your Application

   • Review the Applicant Guide to demonstrate the quality of proposed job placements and strengthen your submission.

2. Log in to GCOS (Grants and Contributions Online Services)

   • Submit your application via GCOS.

   • New users must register using their organization’s CRA business number.

   • GCOS tutorial video available for guidance.

3. Attend an Information Session (optional but recommended)
   Service Canada hosts virtual sessions to guide applicants:

   • Dec 2, 2024 – 2:00 PM AST

   • Dec 3, 2024 – 10:00 AM AST

   • Dec 11, 2024 – 10:00 AM AST

   • Dec 12, 2024 – 6:30 PM AST

   • Dec 13, 2024 – 10:00 AM AST

   • Dec 16, 2024 – 2:00 PM AST

4. Submit Your Application

   • Via GCOS, online form, or in person at a Service Canada Centre.

   • Must be received by December 19, 2024.
