Reports To: Project Manager
The Architect will be responsible for designing and supervising the construction of residential and commercial real estate projects. This role requires creating functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing architectural designs that align with client needs, company objectives, and regulatory standards.
Design & Concept Development
Develop innovative architectural concepts and detailed designs for real estate projects.
Prepare drawings, plans, and 3D models using CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
Ensure all designs comply with zoning laws, building codes, and other statutory requirements.
Project Planning & Coordination
Collaborate with engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors, and consultants.
Prepare BOQs and material specifications for architectural components.
Manage design modifications during construction to align with original project goals.
Site Supervision & Quality Assurance
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to approved designs.
Resolve design-related challenges during project execution.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Client Engagement & Presentation
Meet with clients to understand requirements and present design proposals.
Develop visual presentations, mood boards, and 3D renders for client approval.
Documentation & Reporting
Produce architectural reports, approvals, and as-built drawings.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation across all design and construction phases.
Timely delivery of architectural designs and drawings.
Compliance with project budget and schedules.
Quality and accuracy of architectural documentation.
Positive client satisfaction ratings.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in architectural design and site supervision within real estate.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or equivalent design software.
Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and local regulations.
Soft Skills:
Creativity, precision, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and client presentation abilities.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
Certifications: ARCON registration preferred.
