Title: Microplastics & Green Infrastructure: Sources or Sinks?
This project investigates how green infrastructure systems (like rain gardens, bioswales, etc.) interact with microplastics, whether they trap or release them into water systems. You’ll be contributing to cutting-edge research funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in:
Engineering (e.g., Civil, Environmental, Water Resources), OR
Science (e.g., Chemistry, Soil Science)
Have achieved at least a B+ average in the final two years of undergraduate study
Be motivated to conduct fieldwork and lab-based environmental research
Successful applicants will receive:
