The Skills in Action Photo Competition celebrates photographers who capture innovative aspects of technical and vocational education and training (TVET). Submissions should highlight how TVET equips young people with the skills for the future, focusing on this year’s theme:
“Youth empowerment through AI and digital skills”
Suggested Focus Areas:
AI and Digital Skills in TVET – Capture youth using AI tools, coding, digital simulations, VR/AR in TVET.
Equity in Tech – Show girls, youth with disabilities, or marginalized communities thriving in digital/AI TVET environments.
Digital Solutions for a Green Future – Highlight tech-driven green skills taught in TVET.
Digital Skills for Peace – Show youth using AI or digital tech via TVET to promote peacebuilding, resilience, or community well-being.
Important Notes:
Winning photos and finalists may be featured in UNESCO-UNEVOC media campaigns and publications.
All submissions become the property of UNESCO-UNEVOC.
Photos must align with the competition theme and focus areas.
Include a completed submission form with each photo.
