This program is a powerful opportunity for aspiring students in music and music business-related fields to gain both financial support and professional enrichment on a global stage. The IIE–Sony Music Group Global Scholars Program provides financial scholarships and professional development opportunities to students planning to pursue full-time undergraduate studies in music or music business disciplines. Students from all over the world are invited to apply. To qualify for the 2025/26 scholarship, applicants must: Be planning to enroll full-time in a 3–4 year undergraduate program in music or music business-related fields for the 2025–2026 academic year. Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (U.S. equivalent). Demonstrate financial need. Show academic potential in their chosen music-related field. Not be required to already have an offer of admission at the time of application, but must provide proof of enrollment if selected. Funding Range: USD $3,000 – $20,000 per academic year, based on financial need, tuition cost, and university type. Covers required tuition and mandatory fees (not intended to cover full educational expenses). Access to professional enrichment opportunities: Webinars, virtual events, and mentorship with SMG professionals. Career exposure, including the potential for unpaid internships.
